Children's privacy notice

Telning Publishing House is a brand of WelloWork AB, a company in Sweden (559472-9997). This notice is for the parent or guardian who uses the form at telning.com/send. The form is for grown-ups over 18; a child never uses it alone.

• your email address, to send the story card
• your child's first name and age, to write on the card
• a photo of the drawing page (we ask for no people in the photo; if a photo shows a person, we do not use it and ask you for a new one)
• which book the drawing comes from
• your optional answers about the talk you had (feelings in the story, why your child chose the ending, real life)
• your consents, and the time of sending
• your IP address, used only for a few minutes to stop spam, not stored with your form

We use the name, age and drawing to make the story card, and your answers to write ideas for your next talk. Nothing else.

The legal basis is your consent, which you give on the form. Your answers can say something about your child's feelings, which the law protects specially, so we ask for explicit consent for them and never use them for anything else. We never use anything you send to test, judge or diagnose your child.

Your form goes in one email to our small team. A person makes the card and writes your tips. We delete that email after we reply, and within 30 days in every case.

Your answers are not saved in any database, file, log or statistics. They are read once, for your tips, and are gone.

The drawing is deleted right after we send your card. If you ticked the box that lets us share the card on Instagram or TikTok, we keep only the finished story card image (first name, age and drawing), never your answers or your email. You can ask us to take it down at any time.

• Resend, which carries the email to our team and the card to you
• nobody else: a person on our team reads the email, makes the card and writes the tips

• ask for or keep a photo of a child
• judge, test or diagnose a child, or give advice about a child's health
• share your answers or your email with anyone
• add you to the email list unless you ask for that separately
• use cookies, trackers or advertising

Under the GDPR you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to us at info@telning.com. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY).

If you withdraw your consent after we shared a card, we delete the card from our social media.
